I bought on 8/24/2023 a package of 4 pieces .As soon as I came home I immediately refrigerated all the goodies I bought from Valerio’s Tropical Bakery in Daly City. August 25, I opened the hopia package as delightful snack. To my surprise all the hopia are all full of molds and regretfully not edible. I checked the package for expiration date. No where in the package can I find any date of to indicate it’s expiration. I immediately called the store . The lady who answered my call can not give a definitive response for my question about the hopia mango.I asked to speak to her supervisor . She refused to give me the supervisor’s name and her name. I asked if she can jot down my name and telephone number so she can give it to her supervisor. Again she refused .

Hate to say but I love Valerio's better than Bread Basket..alot more richer and taste alot like home in the Philippines..

Lady has a rude disposition with certain customers including throwing change on the counter. So if their sales go down this is why. Carefully review packaged food items for mold can be seen at times.
