We have our monthly company happy hour here. Very accommodating restaurant. Had flatbread twice.

This a wonderful Spanish Tapas restaurant, with their own little twist. For the people who have complained that this is not authentic Portuguese food, you are correct because this restaurant is not a Portuguese restaurant and is not or never has been promoted as such. But they do serve some Portuguese?Iberian influenced specials every now and then. I have truly enjoyed our dining experiences, and will continue to support them. Please if you don't know the facts please don't post negatives as its just hurts small family owned businesses.

I went here last night my girlfriend and I didn't like a dish we sent it back and the manager told us to leave and we weren't welcome to come back. It seems funny to me that you spend $100 on a meal and don't have the to discuss your dislike for the dish and the manager tells me that I will be going to jail. This place is a joke.

First time, WOW! The food, the service, the atmosphere....perfect.

Food was not good my fish tasted like it went bad, not sure if it was a bad day, I threw it out when I got home, I felt bad for the server so and I didn't want to send it back to the kitchen. My husband rated his steak a 6 out of 10. In my opinion it's not authentic Portuguese food, I'm Portuguese and never tasted Portuguese food like what I ordered, really sad I was looking forward to having a Portuguese restaurant in the area.

We went to "Uvas, Wine and Tapas" last night, we had the best tapas we have had in the US!! The food was delicious, better than all the other tapas, we have had in NYC, Florida and the DFW are, places where we have lived..the service was excelent ! We go to Madrid almost every other year because we love it, and because we love the food; my husband's comment after eating here was, "now we don't have to go Spain to eat"! The menu also includes well known small Italian dishes as an alternative, which I'm sure are also delish.. we will try the paella and some of their main entrees next time we go! If you are a "Foodie", don't miss the oportunity of trying "Uvas, Wine and Tapas"! Enjoy!

The food was delicious. Every dish we had was excellent; we had the escargot, the octopus salad, grilled octopus, and the eggplant rollatini. We also ordered a pitcher of Sangria. We spend a lot of time in Portugal and octopus is very fresh and UVA’s presentation was perfect. Tender, and grilled just right. Joe was our waiter and he was great. We will definitely go back. Just one thing, like many restaurants, UVA does have a “convenience fee” for those using a credit card so if that bothers you, pay cash.

Really amazing food. Had the "salmon a la gallega" and had the proscuitto, cheddar, and Capicola charcuterie board with a glass of strawberry sangria. Everything was exceptional. I LOVED the sangria. Very delicious. The presentation on the salmon a la gallega was great: Salmon on top. Spinach on the salmon. Gold yukon potatoes on the bottom, with their in house cream sauce for flavor on the bottom. The charcuterie was a nice touch and very well thought out. Grapes, crackers, cheese slices, prosciutto de parma and capicola. Not a single complaint regarding anything. Amazing service. They kept making sure drinks were refilled. Empty plates taken away. Water. Etc. Thank you for the amazing experience.

This place is marvelous! We own restaurants and we know quality. Chef Tony and owner Fernando care and maintain a variety of food delights that make you happy you chose this fine Laboratorio Cuccina.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this restaurant for a special event on the recommendation of a family member who has eaten there before. WOW! Their food is simply wonderful! It's not crazy busy, not crazy expensive, but the flavors are just awesome! You really should try this place. If your experience was half as nice as mine, I think you'll really enjoy it! Parking: No issues whatsoever with parking. There was plenty!
