The solidarity between employees and vibe of goodwill is strong at this location. Was rewarded for my patience after entitled college brats came in, meanwhile the cooks were obviously working tirelessly and swiftly in the open kitchen banging out gyros and shawarmas like nobody's business. I appreciate their kindness, work ethic, their awareness and strength and of course their super tasty food. This is a heartwarming spot if you want to feel at home and be greeted with good service, great food and down to earth atmosphere. Patience is a virtue for those who want good food and good service especially when they are busy. Gratitude to the staff...they are human beings.

really good but really expensive. but doesn't stop me coming back. park at nearby garage on 5th Street and if you get back fast enough it will only be $1 update march 2024: my usual order is the jumbo chicken shawarma sandwich and fries which comes out to about $19. im pretty skinny and it's usually just enough to satisfy my hunger. but today I went and the chicken sandwich was actually jumbo. like, it was enough to feed me on its own. and it's still $14, the same price as always. so I don't know if they updated the sizes or ive just been getting scammed with a regular size sandwich this whole time until now, but if this sizing continues I will say it's really not even expensive.

Ordered for pickup and received my order very quickly. We received a good amount of food for what we paid. Will be ordering the rice bowl again!

This place has been my favorite for years! Everyone who works here is so nice and the food is amazing! Falafel and garlic sauce are a must!!

Ordered through Door Dash, missing items from order, barely any fries, tiny baklava, and no napkins. Paid $56 for $40 worth of food.?

I’ve eaten Gyros from California to New York and Seattle to Houston. Gyros are my go to for a quick bite. I’ve sampled several at different Tucson restaurants. The gyros at the Urban Pita are the best I’ve tasted anywhere. The price was perfect. The taster was out of this world. The service could not have been better; friendly, prompt, courteous, and happy.
