Ordered the seard salmon abuti sake don and did not regret it. The salmon was flavorful and melted in my mouth. The drinks that were recommended were both delicious definitely recommend!!
Food was delicious. It is a small place but that made it cozy, comfortable and delightful. Overall 10/10 would recommend, a must visit.
Sake Don was one of the nicest things I’ve eaten. Even miso soup was exceptional
To me, the food in Urara was just average. There weren't any memorable pieces of sushi in the chirashi dish. The presentation was beautiful, but the flavor was mostly bland. Same can be said about California roll. The udon was nice, I liked the broth, and I'd recommend it; but since this was the only dish that I liked, I probably won't be back.
Disappointed! We recently dined there and the sushi chef recommended sea urchin sushi, claiming it was very fresh. When the sea urchin sushi was served, we noticed it had a much darker color than what we had previously eaten, resembling a deep mustard color. We initially attributed this to the winter season, trusting the chef's assurance of freshness. However, upon tasting it, we detected a strong fishy odor, raising doubts about its freshness. When we questioned the chef, he insisted that was how sea urchin tasted. Despite our concerns, we paid for our meal and left a tip, only to later experience vomiting at home. This was an unpleasant dining experience. Businesses should refrain from selling stale sashimi to customers and instead be honest about the quality of their products.
