The best place to eat in jax. I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area. The food was great. The portions do make the cost justifiable. The service that impeccable. I wish I would of take photos. Ut I was enjoying the present moment.
Good food, great service. I'll definitely be back.
First time here and it was ok. I ordered the oxtail omelet and it was good. Had more veggies then meat but what was there was very tasty and tender. Biscuit was good wish it would of come with some type of jam, butter or honey. Drinks were flat. Waitress showed up once for order and someone else delivered. She showed up one more time to provide ticket and then never again. We had to take it to bar. Coworker ordered the po boy and she said it was dry. Sorry that's all I got from her.
The food here did not taste as good as the pictures made it look— our avocado toast was notably not made with fresh avocados and had a brownish-greyish hue to it, and the oxtail omelette was extremely greasy. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great and attentive, but it was clear the food runner had an attitude and was being inappropriately passive aggressive to the bartender. He was the only bartender on staff for a busy bar and she needed him to come look at a food order in the back, and he said he’d be right there, and she shouted “NOW. NOW!” And it just killed the vibe of what should’ve been a fun Friday brunch service. We ended up cutting our brunch early to go eat somewhere else because her shouting at the bartender like that really upset me.
The atmosphere was lively and friendly, the wait wasn't long and the FOOD was delicious
Shrimp & Grits are my favorite their. Nothing else gets my vote. Their scrambled eggs are suspicious , they are just too yellow. Parking: Street parking is not favorable.
