Loved the atmosphere. Still wondering when is open mic night

I thought the atmosphere is was very warm, peaceful, intimate and inviting. All the staff were accommodating and NICE. THey dont serve food but they allow you to bring your own in (there are several food spots within walking distance) and that (and the fact that they are nice) might be why the environment is not as chaotic as Perfect Note. I will be back! I dont drink but I noticed the service was a bit slow.

I was there for a meeting, but it's a great space and I can't wait to go back for music! Very welcoming!

James “PJ” Spraggins and the crew turned up! Uptown Jazz Lounge is the class act of Birmingham hands down! The owners are so gracious and staff so friendly and professional; kudos to y’all. We came all the way from Tupelo, MS to support this; money well spent!

This rating is for the live music. 5+ stars for the band members of the John Wilson Experience. Every member of this group was incredibly talented and a delight to watch and hear. It's obvious that these musicians have perfected their craft. We appreciated all genres of music they played and were impressed by each solo performance. Top shelf band, thanks for sharing your gift! As for the venue, it's in a nice location with a parking garage nearby. Felt safe and comfortable. No food served at this venue yet, but we enjoyed our drinks. We shared the spot with a group celebrating a birthday and some senior congregation members from a local church. Was a cool vibe, hopefully the younger professionals will start patronizing this business. Could be a great place for music lovers of all kinds.

They provided reserved seating and allowed us to bring in appetizers & cake for my daughter’s 22nd Birthday Celebration.
