Our server Jake was awesome! The food was really good. I loved the guacamole dip. We got the grilled steak churrasco and it was very good. Also the margarita flight! My favorite was the Texas margarita. They had a DJ play for a couple hours that made the atmosphere so much fun! Ask for Jake when you go!

Ate here and the rice was not “Mexican rice” at all. It was mixed with carrots and corn, and white as could be. My chimichanga also was left half finished, I couldn’t even convince myself to eat more. Best thing here overall was the queso. Would not come here again, though the vibes are cute overall. ‍♀️

We were looking for a fun, close place to eat at in between meetings and landed on uptown cantina. When we walked in, it was pretty hot but the decor was super cute and aesthetic. The food was definitely not authentic Mexican. The rice was bland and mixed with carrots and corn. The Gringo tacos were small and not anything special. I could have made them better at home. To top it all off my meal ended up costing $30 for one person! If you’re looking for a cute aesthetic and are willing to spend some money on mid food then go for it but if not turn and run the other way!!

Stopped there before an event at the arena. The food was reasonably priced and good. Can't rate the server staff just due to how busy they were. Drinks, overpriced and small. Got 4 margaritas in small glasses. Cost about $23 apiece. TAX was right at 20% for everything. Was told the alcohol was taxed on top of the 10% sales tax. I knew B'ham had an alcohol tax, but 10%, not too sure about that. There was not a breakdown regarding tax. The overall bill for two people, having 4 drinks ($92), food ($24), tax ($21.20) and then some kind of adjustment ($4.06). Totaling $141.26 before tip. In the future I will eat downtown and avoid the uptown area.

Stopped in for an early lunch on Sunday after finding this place on the internet. Food was excellent, as were the margaritas and the service. Will be back the next time we are in town.

Worst customer service ever. Had Google reservation for 530pm. It didn't show in their system. I had email confirmation. Showed them. They said go away. Christmas present and date night for Journey/Toto. Ruined. They suck. No concern for us and not willing to help in any way whatsoever. Already stood in line for 20 minutes to find out our reservations aren't worth a damn thing.

Nice atmosphere! The food was really good and filling. Nice portions and great taste. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. I had the Steak bowl and added shrimp. The Guacamole was really good!
