Upstart Kombucha

Had the Rose at Zeps once and fell in love. S tier.

Amazingly tasty kombucha to start. Clean, refreshing, and properly carbonated. And great people work there, too. What more do you need? Note: tasting room currently closed due to covid. My favorite flavor is the Rose Bud. It doesn't have a very strong floral flavor, I get white grape/strawberry flavors. More fruity and tropical than I expected. Next up, I tried the Lemon Lavender. Unlike the Rose Bud, this has a strong floral and herbal flavor, and just stronger flavor in general. I think some people will love this one and some people will not. If you like lavender with a zing, go for this one. This one is not fruity, but heavily floral. It's important to note that this is the only one I tried with cbd, maybe that affected the flavor and made it stronger tasting. I have not experienced any noticeable side effects from the CBD. Strong lavender and herb taste up front with a lemon peel finish. Last one I tried was the Mint Green. I was a little concerned this would be too minty, but it is not. It is in fact the perfect level of mint. Starts off with a lighter mint taste and then you get a slight sweet white grape flavor. It's not heavy and doesn't feel like you're drinking a breath mint, just light and crisp. I actually had a chance to swing by the brewery in Boulder and was able to speak to someone who was working. Extremely friendly and genuine people at Upstart. The brewery was not able to sell a scoby and their tap room was closed due to covid. Oh well! I will happily support Upstart whenever I purchase booch.

This has quickly become my favorite brand. I've been drinking kombucha before it was cool (24 yrs ago)-- to cure my eczema and food allergies. This one is tasty!! I also love the lavender-lemon

The smoothest Kombucha there is. Mint Green is my favorite with Rose Bud coming in second. Having Upstart in Boulder is great but I can only make it up there a few times out of the year due to my work schedule. I've visited here a few times and everyone has been extremely friendly and just plain out fantastic. For their product and service they deserve no less than five stars.

My absolute favorite kombucha!! Not vinegary, mild and so refreshing. They also have a great little tap room and awesome booch club!

Best Kombucha in town! They have a front tasting area that suits the needs, and well versed staff. Definitely go try it out.
