This historical place was amazing! From the moment we came in and we sat down, we were greeted by one of the most fun, attentive, outstanding waitresses we have had in a long time. Richelle made our son's 21st birthday so memorable and special. We were also so graciously greeted by Mr. Milano the owner. Him and my son had so many things in common to share regarding Thailand. The drinks, food and the delicious Boston cream pie that Richelle brought to celebrate him was wonderful. Highly recommended if you are in Boston. So worth it!

Must stop if visiting Boston. It will be quite busy, especially on weekends. We somehow always seem to get lucky and snag a seat at the bar without to much of wait. Last time we went, we made reservations, and just by chance were seated in the JFK booth. It was an awesome experience. Service is always top notch, oysters are on point, the clam chowder lives up to the reputation.

I was brought to the Union Oyster House by a friend who is a Boston resident when I traveled to Boston for the first time and it was just so good. The food, staff, and atmosphere of this place are all great! I wish I knew the name of our waiter so I could mention him. He was entertaining and helpful! After we ate he took us on a tour of the whole building and told us all about all kinds of history. Prices were scary but I realized as the days passed that all the prices in Boston are scary. Across the street is the Holocaust Memorial, and that is worth checking out as well.

Chowder, shrimp, scallops and rice. The building is historic but the food is fresh!

Such a cool establishment that is rich wish history! You have to visit Union Oyster House just so you can get that historic Boston feel. The crab cakes and clam chowder were delicious, but we weren’t big fans of the scrod. The atmosphere was perfection and service was great too. We were busy enjoying our time together as a family that the only photo I took was of this cool model of the Union Ouster House in their window display.

I ordered the clam chowder, it was very good and accompanied by cornbread. I also had a wheat beer, it was alright, nothing special. The location is historical and pleasant

I have eaten here for more than 30 years the quality of food and service both since covid 2020 ish have fallen flat each year i return expecting it to get better or back to normal and it declines each visit. I fear americas oldest restaurant is headed toward failure! When restaurants focus on prices instead of quality they collapse!

Basically a tourist trap. Clam chowder was more like a potato soup, and the fried seafood platter we ordered for two was terrible. Bloody mary was decent and the bar looked decent.
