Do not stay here. I am not sure how this hotel is still in business. The photos they have on their website and online is not the same as what you get. This hotel is very rundown, dirty, the rooms are very small. The washroom wasn't even functioning well, mirrors was broken, there's a leak in the bathroom, broken double locks on the door. We did not feel safe when we stayed here in October. The staff also leaves after 7pm and only returns some time in the morning. No one is there to help you or provide you any service. Stay away from this hotel.

Value for money, the room was VERY small, but the WiFi worked well and it was cheap and close to the train. Would stay again.

Booked months advance of our trip to NYC, paid the deposit and everything only for them to not only cancel our reservation and never answer emails and called they cancelled it 3 days before we were supposed to arrive due to 'construction' the most unprofessional experience I have ever had, and half the time their phones were busy dial tones every day all day. When we finally reached them about them cancelling we were belittled and they did NOTHING to compensate literally having us stranded with nowhere to stay so close to our trip. DO NOT STAY HERE NOR BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!! There is a reason you have 3 stars!

DO NOT STAY HERE. this place is at best a brothel and at worst a place where people to go murder other people. there was not even a lock on my door. I walked in and had to immediately leave and did not stay here, and they would not give me my money back. Noteworthy details: THIS PLACE IS AWFUL

Hotel not to enjoy staying just to sleep and go

This is probably the worst place I have ever stayed. Do not stay here. The sheets were stained and when I let the hotel know they said if they replaced the sheets each time they were stained, they would go out of business. Walls were covered in black dots, floors were caked with filth, curtains were see through. They refused to give me a refund and I felt so uncomfortable being stuck there. It is not like the photos. The hotel was also extremely loud and I requested several times for people to quiet down. They were three rooms down and blasting music til at least 2 in the morning. Safety: Did not feel safe here.

And their help with navigating the NYC transportation maze? Priceless! Thanks, guys! Now, let's taco 'bout the room! ️ Sure, it's not a sprawling suite, but it's got that cozy 'just right' vibe. Clean? Check. Everything in shipshape working order? Double-check. The frequent towel changes were the cherry on top of a very comfy cake. If you're hitting the Big Apple for a quick getaway and want to save those dollars for the city's endless adventures, Union Hotel is your go-to. You'll leave with a heavier wallet and a light heart, thanks to the amazing folks who make this place a home away from home. Rooms: Clean and have everything you need Walkability: Close to the subway, there are some grocery stores nearby, plus a few convenience stores.
