Their happy hour is sooo nice! And today they were out of the drink I ordered, so they offered another drink that was more expensive instead. Then, once they got the ingredients they needed, they offered me the original drink on the house too! Great customer service:)
I am very pleased with my visit tonight. Austin has been very welcoming to me. This is the kind of spot I knew I could stop into before I hit my flight home. Lasagna was on super point and the Caesar was just right (what's that dressing?). Thanks for the love! Stop in if you're in the area. Vegetarian options: Did a salad and lasagna tonight. Perfect
This was a first time visit to this restaurant. Overall, it was a great experience. The challenge was the portion sizes of the food for the price. The location is prime and the ambiance is cute. I would go back for lunch but I would not go back for dinner because of portions. The family salad was a good portion.
It's just great. Staff are always nice, food is always great and so are the drinks. Best happy hour in town if you ask me. Just such a sweet spot with great vibes and all you could ask for from a bar/cafe spot. Beyond that, I can tell they try and keep things fresh, I've been coming here for four years and they update the menu and the service is always perfect. But shhhhh I wanna keep this a local secret, much love to the staff.
Why is my Italian sandwich on a hamburger bun. $16 sandwich and $15 Caesar salad. Take your money elsewhere for better food
Save for the meatballs, there was little positive about our lunch. Kale and Caesar salads were unremarkable. Caprese salad, somehow, managed to be rubbery and flavorless. It’s a special tragedy that an ostensibly Italian restaurant made a burnt and under extracted espresso drink. The price point on everything only adds insult to injury. Save yourself the heartache and some money and go elsewhere.
Staff was kind and hard working here, but jeez high price for small portions. Chicken Alfredo was bland and cost me 22 bucks with tip and a “health and safety” fee. I don’t understand why I have to tip for take away food either. Good atmosphere but won’t be back to try other things on the menu. Teramisu was great tho.
They sneak a 3% Health and Wellness charge onto your bill so you get to pay for the staff’s health insurance. Then they have the audacity to ask for an 18-25% tip on top of that when you have to order from the counter. Food was mediocre at best, sauce and condiments drown the food. I will absolutely never go here again.
The service is usually great but the food is very inconsistent. Two of my favs here when they’re made well- the marinated chickpeas and the overnight oats vary wildly in prep in particular. For instance on my most recent visit, the chickpeas were lacking salt, lemon and garlic (so all the flavor). It’s disappointing to spend $6 on a side that’s missing half the ingredients. Sometimes the oats have great flavor and sometimes they’re either unflavored or drowning in so much syrup it’s hard to eat. Not to mention items are often just completely sold out for days or weeks on end. When this pace is on point it’s great, but you never know what you’ll get.
