Uncle Chicken's Cast Iron Kitchen

We've been wanting to try the food here, I'm glad we finally did. The food was AMAZING, service quick and friendly. The meatloaf was really really good, and ribs were also real good. Everything was fresh and hot. The live music was a nice touch. Definitely going down as one of my favorite places to eat!

Casual place with AMAZING food! High quality home cooking is how I can beat describe this place. I love the concept of the meal being served in a cast iron skillet. It kept our meals hot. We both tried the meatloaf, which is smoked then sliced THEN grilled! Topped with a bbq sauce and a cream sauce, then garnished with jalapeños. (I personally would get the sauce in the side in the future, but that’s just me and my preference.) Delicious! I opted for the mashed potatoes, gravy on the side, and broccoli for my sides and they were both excellent. I’m always skeptical with mashed because there are such variations but these are just the way I like, creamy & flavorful. I think the broccoli had a bit of parm on it and cooked perfectly. Service was great! The owner introduced himself, Craig. (I’ll be back with the husband for that beer, Craig!) There was a gentleman playing the keyboard when we arrived. Very mellow in the background. Left us wanting more, so I hope he’ll be playing regularly. Highly recommend this unsuspecting little gem and wish them HUGE SUCCESS!

If there is a band there, don't expect to hear the people you are with. The food is absolutely amazing, get the meatloaf or the steak! The smoked wings were awesome and the service was excellent!

1st time in, and the waitress was on point, and the food was awesome. I had the ribs with asparagus and au Gratin potatoes. I've had the pork and the brisket from the carry out also. I don't think you will be disappointed. Try it you'll like it. Kid-friendliness: They have a nice kids minu. Wheelchair accessibility: It's a flat entrance, no ramps needed.

The food is Fantastic, not what one would expect at all . Great little hometown restaurant

Food was absolutely awesome! My 7 year old said, " The food was amazing! Dad we need to come here every Thursday!" The pork chop was tender and juicy, ribs were fall off the bone and BBQ sauce was the perfect touch! Definitely recommend this place! Both my girls cleaned their plates!

Panko chicken fingers are out of this world! The chicken is ALWAYS moist and delicious. The owner is one of the nicest guys to talk with and is always quick to engage you in a friendly conversation or offer up samples of his great food. One of my favorite places to grab dinner to go on my way home from work!! Will continue to be a frequent visit dinner spot for me...

It my husband, toddler, and myself and I haven’t had this good of a “home cooked” meal in quite some time. It was absolutely delicious. We had meatloaf ribs and the brownie and it was all top notch. I wish we would’ve eaten here the entire time we were there.
