Food is good but the level of understaffing led to an abysmal experience. We waited 45 minutes from the time we ordered to the time our DRINKS came and they only came after we asked for them. Another 20 minutes for food to come. Had to ask for banchan, which was less than half the quantity you would get at similarly priced Korean restaurants. It's a bummer, I had better experiences here before but after today's experience I am never coming back and would advise against coming here during their busy periods. They aren't staffed sufficiently. Sorry to the staff, it's not their fault.

Food, Service and Ambience are great. Lots of choices although vegetarian options are limited.

Update: NOTE that there’s two menus. The paper menu do not contain any item for grilling at table. You have to scan QR code for that. Vegetarian options: Tofu soup and also kimchi fried rice. Their vegan tofu soup is on the plain side tho.

Probably the most overpriced and least authentic Korean restaurant in San Francisco. Seafood pancake too oily (oil not hot enough and wrong batter), Dak galbi used unmarinated breast meat instead of thigh. Even the romanization of mother is wrong. Eomma not umma.

Really delicious food priced fairly, and the staff was quite sweet as well when there were some questions related to the order or food. It's been some time since I was here, but I still remember the food I had, was so lovely, and I do wish I could come back. Maybe one day. ^^

Not authentic Korean food and overpriced. The seafood pancake barely had any seafood in it. The Rockin Roe rice didn't taste good. The Seolleongtang ($22) tasted like they used powder to make the soup - we also asked for extra broth and they were going to charge another $10 for JUST BROTH. I wouldn't recommend this place. The patio in the back is cute though.

The service was good and the food decent, but it is pretty standard of restaurants to put food prices on the menu and not leave them for a surprise when the check comes, which this place does not do. The add-ons for the bibimbap do not have any price listed, but actually end up making it cost over 25% more than the listed menu price. Very disingenuous!

It’s been a while but I’m back. Appreciate all my fans who have been with me for a min on this journey. Today, we ate at umma, a great Korean restaurant. Soon tofu was good. It wasn’t what I’m used to but it was a new flavor and take on soon tofu that I enjoyed. Wow, just wow I have to say about the Korean wings. I got the citrus gochujang and it was amazing. Crunchy and flavorful. Tyeokboki, idk how to spell it tbh but it was alright. I like the ramen they put on top. Overall, great vibes and flavor.
