Solid place with a good selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. One of the few places I've gone where the takoyaki isn't lava on the inside. Prices and portions were pretty good and the fish was very fresh.
Everything is so Good!!! It worth to eat every time when I came back to Chicago!!!
Not bad, but definitely not so good. The sashimi is good quality and delicious, however that’s the end of the good part. We also ordered curry udon, basically all appetizers, and a couple sushi rolls. The appetizers are okay except the Dashi tofu is meh. Sushi roll is good. Udon is quite insulting, it tastes blend, doesn’t have the key ingredients to make it an authentic curry udon, huge disappointment. Given the quality of the food, I think the the price is definitely on the pricier end than it should have been. One other thing that bothers me a lot is the decoration inside are non-Japanese related theme when it is a Japanese restaurant. Overall, not a bad place to visit. Granted, this is probably the best somewhat affordable Japanese restaurant within blocks, but surely won’t be the first couple places to revisit for me. Amazing sushi incredible service and experience
Had the bear and firecracker…best sushi I have ever eaten. It’s fresh and delicious! Really awesome place!
Pretty good sushi joint. The sushi was a bit colder than I am used to but still solid. The chicken teriyaki was legit.
So yummy and great prices! The spicy crab roll and spicy crispy tuna rice was amazing!
