Udupi Palace Restaurant | Best vegetarian Indian Restaurant in Chicago

Tasty vegetarian cuisine. Clean place.

Given a chance I would give a negative rating. We ordered Soya Biryani and bisbelebath. Soya biryani was stale, Bisbelebath was almost gone. Well, I was little hesitant to confront as there were two elder gentlemen who were sitting and another elderly gentleman served us food. So, my thought process was like, they must be having certain value system and I can trust them with providing good food. But, I was proved wrong. Having heard of the hype of Devon street for ages, visiting this restaurant was certainly an utter disappointment. Plus to settle down the things I was offered a voucher for next time which I rejected blatantly as the restuarent is not worth the second chance, especially after breaking the trust.

I love the masala dosa, and the service staff is always friendly!

Had only coffee and it was not good and when we asked for Badam Halwa for togo. I opened the to go box and found molded Badam Halwa. Check your food always before you eat anything here.

Staff is so disrespectful they are literally abusing the customer for looking at the menu near the cash counter.
