Miss Mina brought me here. Small Tan Tan Spicy Udon with everything and an egg. Shrimp, kabocha squash tempuras, and potato croquette on the side. Sooooo damn good
Solid udon - I always go with the Udon Nuki. Delicious broth, noodles, and meat. Some solid sides and no line make this an easy place when you just want something good and easy. Parking is a pain, but with a little patience you can find a spot nearby.
Hard to find a restaurant that just sells Udon in the US. So I am glad i found this place! It was good. The tempura were too soggy and cold already, I’m a bit sensitive when it comes to smell of meat in my mouth and pork Katsu was a little smelly. But other than that it was good overall. I do recommend basic Udon than Curry Udon. I would like to try something else here next time.
This is the quickest food served restaurant I’ve ever been to. They first prepare the food and then they give the food to the customer right away.
Because the sauce is great, I love the shrimp and octopus balls. Noodles are good. The food is a bit too cold.
Food is amazing and so many options to choose from.
Essentially a marugame clone - you order your noodles, add some toppings, and then pick from a variety of tempura to fits your fancy. I’d say priced similarly as well. The udon noodles were actually chewier than what I had at marugame, which I appreciate, but I think it’s more of marugame having a bad day than this one being better. We came at 1p, so a bit after lunch rush, and some of the tempura was getting stale, not crispy anymore. Overall great place for a quick bite!
