Uccello's Ristorante - Downtown Grand Rapids

Good food, nice employees, difficult parking.

This is the best pizza I have had in decades. The pie not only cured my depression but also improved my ADHD. The only down side was the amazing ZAAAA arrived with a 6 month old Guatemalan baby. I was completely unprepared for the responsibilities of parenthood seeing as I am 19 and living In my parents car without them knowing (they think I got accepted into college, long story.) Anyways, In the future, please give your customers a little bit of a heads up. I would've at least gotten some diapers before hand. Also, is there any way Uccello's Ristorante will be able to help out financially with this new responsibility? I am in way over my head. Best pizza in town.

Place has changed a bit since the last time I was here. Food quality/portions have dipped and our food came out cold. Worst is that we saw it sitting there for a while before it was delivered and it didn't seem very busy. Note that they now impose a Uccellos Tax or an "admin fee" of 3% on all orders. Very sneaky.

Great experience! I definitely recommend everything we had (Cheesy "U" Sticks, Caesar salad w/salmon, and Hanger Steak)! The Moscow mules are good too!

We make sure to visit UCellos every time we come to GR (sometimes twice). The food is consistently good- my husband loves their rendition of chicken marsala. The spinach dip is a favorite of mine. As a vegetarian, I like that there are a lot of diverse pizza and pasta options. It's also nice to get a quality salad with multiple greens and not just romaine and iceberg. Service is usually quality. The one occasion we did have an issue the manager was quick to resolve the mishap. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in town! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available including GF pizza and pasta. Vegetarian options available.

I wish I could give the service no stars. The food is amazing but the service is pure trash here. The manager walked away from me, mid conversation because I was complaining about how dry my Alfredo was. They charged me $4.99 for extra sauce, which is fine if it actually was extra sauce. It was was the sauce that they forgot to put in the pasta to begin with, not to mention starring into the kitchen window while waiting for my food, watching one of the chefs quick breaking while chowing down on some food from a cup and spoon while in the process of making customer orders.

Love all UCCELLO’s locations! Servers are in tip of it and the food is delicious!
