One of the best soul food places in town
Trash just spent damn near 70 bucks only thing was worth anything was the kool-aid
We ordered a plate of ox tails with rice, cabbage, and yams, and a chitterlings plate with black eyed peas and greens. First I will say that nothing, and I mean NOTHING tasted like it had any seasoning at all! The ox tails tasted like boiled meat. Cabbage was mushy and had no seasoning or anything else in it. The rice was watery and bland. The yams were okay because they had a little sweetness to them. As soon as we opened the bowl of chitterlings the smell was very appalling. Now I know that is the natural smell of them, but they should NOT smell like that after cooking them! Black eyed peas tasted canned with no seasoning, and the greens were about the same as the cabbage, mushy and bland. The cornbread was even dry. I have tried A LOT of different soul food restaurants, but this is by far the absolute worst soul food I have ever tasted. We couldn't even eat it. We threw it all away. What a waste of $65. The kool-aid was good.
OMG tha best barbecue I've ever had frfr I ate from this place 3days straight
Delicious meal. Will be returning with my family and friends. The loaded baked potato I ordered was large with a generous amount of barbecue meat. Vanilla pudding yum yum.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff were very nice.
They should keep the food in rotation so that it continues to look appealing the line servers need to smile more.
Me & the family got some baked potatoes with chopped beef & they weren't bad at all! &The men loved the MacNCheese
