Fun Place!!

I love coming here and honestly who wouldn't? Everything about this hotel has tremendous attention to detail with the iconicly designed lobby and the plane in the back the you can walk inside and check out also it's kind of cool staying in a hotel right on middle of an international airport!

Wow! What a cool experience! This place is great! So much fun! Superb service everywhere. The restaurant menu is limited, but delicious. Connie, the real plane, is the cocktail lounge. So clever.

AMAZING place to hang out before flying back to Europe!

If you want to stay at a hotel airport (that’s a big IF) then this is by far the most entertaining airport hotel you’ll ever visit. Without a doubt, the top feature is the heated rooftop pool. We sat up to our necks in beautiful hot water, drinking cocktails and watching the planes land and take off. It was mind-numbingly cold when we got out and I wish we’d brought our hotel bathrobes and slippers, but otherwise it was a real treat. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time to the days when TWA was one of the world’s great airlines, and it is also connected directly to Terminal 5 at JFK, so you don’t even need to step outside. Couldn’t recommend it more.

DONT BOOK unless you are guaranteed that you will make it to check in. We booked this place since we had an overnight layover at JFK. Our plane had to make an emergency medical landing in Dublin, Ireland, and was not scheduled to fly back to our original destination (JFK) until the next morning due to the number of hours we had been in the air. The receptionist and manager that I talked to were both not helpful at all, and not understanding of the situation we were forced to be put in by the airline. They were not willing to refund us any of our money, or credit us for another stay potentially in the future. We will not even look in this direction again if we have to stay somewhere in JFK. Not only are we stuck away from home, but out a pretty decent amount of money that they could’ve easily refunded us.

Great hotel if you have an early flight, especially if you’re flying JetBlue.
