Kids' meal was 1 chicken tender, 1 small bag of goldfish, 1 cup of apple sauce, and a small half pint milk for $8.99. Tasted good, but way too pricey.
I recommend not ordering the cheeseburger. I thought I had pretty reasonably low expectations going in due to the location and limited menu but it was just awful. The bun was cold - refrigerated cold. The cheese sauce was therefore also cold from sitting next to the bun. The patty itself seemed like it had been cooked the day before and microwaved and unfortunately it seemed like the tomato slice was microwaved with it as it was basically mush.
We went Glowfari, and we ordered chicken quesadilla which was super great. And they even sell hot coffee (which had not been there!) My friend ordered korean something, she said it was sooo yammy, too. They might upgrade their menu! Awsome!!
Worse food and pricy. Took Buffalo chicken wrap which was nothing but a regular grilled chicken wrap with no taste of buffalo sauce. Also, worse chicken tenders ever had with no taste.
Was surprised at the great food we ordered. Chicken strips were huge and you received 2 along with fries. Also ordered the hot dog which was a nice fat one on fresh bun and grilled onions. Drinks were self serve and many to choose from. The price was a shock but we were all hungry so it is what it is. There was 9 of us and spent around $175 for our meals and drinks. Pricey but its a treat once in a while.
Food was actually pretty good for an amusement type restaurant.
Wow is it food or gold they are serving? Not many options and the prices are insane. No veg options at all.
The food was expensive and not very good. Bring your own food!
How do you, as a zoo in Oakland, not have diverse plant based food options? There was a salad and fries, they were sold out of a vegetarian burger. Don't expect much, just an FYI for future potential customers, and the kids meal chicken tenders is one chicken tender. Nothing down on the zoo or staff, just menu choices by management...
