Turtle Bay Brindleyplace Birmingham

I wish I could say we had a nice time (because the place was highly recommended!) but it was really disappointing. We arrived around 3.55pm and ordered cocktails and food at 4pm. The cocktails arrived half hour later, only because the waitress approached us asking if we wanted something else; when we said we haven't even received the drinks we first ordered, then she brought them. Apparently there was some sort of misunderstanding with the bartender. Around 4.43pm we started to get impatient because no food had arrived; it was a busy Sunday evening but not completely crowded so we asked one of the staff if she could find out what was happening with our food. Two minutes later she came back with it and she apologised for the delay, but the food was lukewarm/cold and not very well presented. My plate (picture attached) hardly had any mash. In the end we ate lukewarm overpriced food that took almost 45 minutes to be served. The food and cocktails were tasty but we won't be coming back.

ronin was absolutely amazing. had great service and very quick to refill drinks for out bottomless brunch. would highly recommend Vegetarian options: very tasty vegetarian and vegan options with plenty of choice Dietary restrictions: plenty of vegan options

Our first time here! We was served by a wonderful young man called Sancho. Manners was impeccable, he was so helpful and attentive. He was so busy never seemed stressed always served with a smile and so so polite. A true credit to your establishment! We’ll be back due to such a pleasant memorable evening.

Order incorrect meals served before starter and drinks, very disappointed, ruined birthday celebration. Staff were however very pleasant and atmosphere great.
