Much easier to get into than it's sister restaurant and quieter as well. Music as you can guess was on point - 80s/90s rock (and classic rock, synth etc). The rolls were our favorite, followed by the tuna tacos, chicken and squid. Drinks are NYC prices - $15 for wine, $15-$20 for cocktails. Service was friendly and it's a great place to catch up with friends and share meals. Spent ~$100pp with 2 drinks.
Love getting their fried chicken wings here. Crispy and delicious. We got 12 pieces and did half and half (half soy garlic and half spicy). Spicy was too spicy for me but I have a weak tolerance for spicy. For apps, we got the Cheese Sticks and Trufffle Mac n Cheese. Cheese Sticks were good and would recommend those. Max n cheese was too watery.
Great food! Great service!!! Manager One is great!!!!
Beautifully designed interior that looks like a Big Budget movie the music if UR an 80s kinda peep ULL be in UR happy place
Cool atmosphere and good service. The soy garlic drums and wings were good but a bit too sweet (also besides the radish there was no other bonchon). I wouldn't call it an authentic Korean fried chicken but it's good enough. Bathrooms were clean.
Atmosphere (5/5): This gastropub had such a cool vibe with retro music themed décor. On the second floor, there looks to be a DJ setup. It's kind of dark inside but at least it wasn't very loud. I was surprised on how empty it was during peak dinner hours! Service (5/5): Since there were very few parties dining, the service was great. We got our drinks quickly and had our food out in a jiffy. Food Overall Salmon Tartare (4/5): It was a nice portion of spicy salmon. It could have used a few more pieces of the large wonton-like chips. The flavor was pretty good. Wings (4/5): We ordered half soy and half spicy. The spicy is pretty spicy! The wings had a nice outer crunch and great flavor! $9 pint beers, pitchers, and $65 towers
Cool little place I found by accident. Will be back.
