Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

Food was cold within a hour of the restaurant closing. Had a Chicken sandwich with the Rosmaey potatoes. Ordered sweet but it was sweet. Banana Pudding was very good. Atmosphere was great, along with the service.

The Ashville hot chicken sandwich was good; the chicken itself was pretty mid, but the toppings added flavor. Good price for the lunch special. Excellent homemade ginger beer! Overall, it was not a bad experience, but wait staff didn't seem attentive. I came alone and waited for 5 minutes at my table before saddling up to the bar, where Jess (aka Meow) helped me immediately.

I came in on a Sunday morning by myself & sat at the bar top. It was pretty quiet but it still took several minutes for one of the three girls behind the bar stop chitchatting/ FaceTiming to acknowledge me. However, about 15 minutes later two 20-something guys sat down at the bar & got great, attentive service. My breakfast was very tasty, though!

Been here a few times, and the last few visits were fine. Just had lunch there on a work day and it took 40 mins to get our food. They try to explain that they had a large group, which there was, but that's their responsibility to make sure they have capacity. For a place that is trying to cater to the working lunch crowd long delays is just not feasible. The food was also not as great, likely because of the rush in the kitchen. The fried chicken, which is their claim to fame was really dry. Our waitress did apologize and said they would discount our bill, which didn't happen when we got our bill. I would have asked, but because we were so delayed I didn't have the time. This is unfortunate as the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, is convenient, and previously had good food and service. Just not anymore. I do not recommend this place.

I was expecting so much more from this spot. The outside and inside of the Tupelo looks very appealing however, the food does not mimic the aesthetics. I ordered drinks from the menus, each time the server came back to tell me that they were out of the mix to make the drinks on the menu. He did not seem to know the menu too well when we asked about certain dishes. I ended up ordering the fried chicken, Mac and cheese and collard greens. It was not good, in fact we didn’t even finish our meals because it was so bad. No flavor, instead of Mac and cheese, it was more like Mac and cheese soup. Spent $75 and I was hungry afterwards because I could not ingest the food. If you do not expect much. Also, the server running his fingers through his hair.

Hands down one of the best bunch places in town! You won't find more flavorful food combinations! The combinations are unique and definitely delicious! From the biscuits to the mimosas, and we can't pass on mac and cheese waffles! And they make their own pickles! It was amazing and great food portions. It's worth every penny. Great place to create memories, and the ambiance is spectacular. Go here, you won't regret it.

Portion size on the sides, for the price, were small. The Banana Cream Pudding was soupy, not firm. The Honey chicken was different but good. Never had Honey dusted on my chicken. Pretty good.
