I visited Tupelo’s for my birthday brunch. Haley was my server. She was super attentive, very nice, and once I mentioned it was my birthday she offered me a few dessert options. I also told her I was visiting Denver for the weekend and she recommended some pretty nice scenic spots and dinner restaurants. If management reads this, please thank her for me! She was very helpful and kind. Besides the great service, the food was great. I had the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. I also enjoyed a couple mimosas. I can definitely say my solo birthday brunch was enjoyable.
The food wasn’t as good as I hoped. Service was very slow. Over hyped in my opinion. There are better restaurants in the area in the same price range of better quality.
Would recommend getting the biscuits and fried heirloom tomatoes. Broccolini was a little hard to eat with it being uncut, but the chipotle aioli was solid. The chips with pimento dip were also excellent. The chicken and waffles left me wanting more as the Mac n cheese was dry and not cheesy at all, and the sauce around the plate was mediocre. The dill ranch and house made pickles were good . Maybe it's worth a try if you're nearby.
