Went to Tucker's to try the pastrami sandwich. Good: I liked that you can order, customize your sandwich, and pay on the little screen in front of the deli counter. The bread was good and the pastrami was sliced in a way that the sandwich didn't fall apart while eating it. The place looked clean and the cashier was amicable. Bad: The sandwich was waaay too greasy/oily (Why???). It also lacked that "something" that sets it apart from what I could make myself at home, for example. It most definitely isn't in my top five choices for pastrami sandwich in the Southbay area.
I've lived in the area since 1968 and this place has been a real pleasure for deli sandwiches and liquor and other needs. They really do have some great sandwiches great well made perfect the best and that's what this place is known for. They also have a large variety of wine and other hard liquor and of course beer
This place gave us food poisoning!
Omg their sandwiches are the best. Will drive out of my way to go to Tuckers deli to get my the turkey bacon avocado. The bread omg the bread is delicious. You must try Tuckers deli.
This store has been here since I moved into the area 25 years ago. Great little deli to satisfy your sandwich desires.
