Terrible! We had a reservation but before we could order they refused to accommodate our meal request. Said that the whole table must order the same food regardless of food preferences. And refused to offer alternatives. We walked out and they did nothing to assuage us. The manager was rude and unfriendly. I will never eat here and I will make sure to tell everyone never to go here. We ended up at a delicious place down the street which is the only thing that saved a special night with my daughter. Never again. Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian, they will not accommodate your meal. Everyone at the table must order the same meal, regardless of preference or dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions: They cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions. And in fact, they refuse to make any concessions whatsoever. Don’t eat here. They do not care about you
Authentic Japanese food. Good service and great food
In 75 years I have never had such delicious fresh wonderful perfect sushi. I also had chicken udon soup. when this location first opened, i was a huge fan. i think over the years they’ve had their ups and downs but overall they offer relatively good udon and sushi for very good prices
all you can eat is worth it
Paid this place a visit twice, both times on a weekend. On both occasions (once when the restaurant was filled and once when nearly empty) the service was exceptional. The hosts and servers were all attentive, quick, and friendly. I also witnessed staff being patient and helpful with other diners. The food was unfortunately nothing to write home about; I found that the sushi, especially for its price, had an incredibly meager fish-to-rice/other ingredient ratio. This was most noticeable during my second visit, and as a diehard salmon lover, had me feeling pretty down about the meal. The sukiyaki I had during my first visit was nice and filling, however, I can’t remember any complaints. Overall, two trips was enough for me, and I don’t see a need to go back. There’s no shortage of places in Boston to get more and better food for less.
I was visiting from out of town, and my waitress Sevi was so amiable and efficient, I felt compelled to post a compliment. The food at this restaurant was plentiful and delicious. But Sevi was the star of my experience! Sevi greeted me quickly and with a big smile. She made me feel welcome. Sevi got my complicated order to perfection without needing to write anything down. Then, she checked on me frequently to see if I needed anything. In summary, this restaurant is awesome. But, Sevi makes it a gem! Five stars for Sevi and her impeccable service!!!
