Food menu can be improved, limited selection of steak,fish and chicken. the interior and atmosphere are simple. Prices $$$

Edited: manager did call to rectify our situation so i increased the number of stars from my original review. We were quite disappointed with our pre-Valentine’s Day meal. My wife ordered the petite steak pointed it out on the menu, and the waitress put in the wrong order. A slightly larger steak was brought out, which was not completely to my wife’s liking and which What is the wrong steak. We asked the waitress when our check came why it was so expensive and she said that my wife ordered the 5 ounce steak and that there were two 5 ounce steaks on the menu which there aren’t. there is actually a 5 ounce and an 8 ounce. The waitress didn’t even know about the menu. We did not figure out that they screwed up until we went home and looked up the menu. Therefore, they overcharged us for something that we didn’t order. We called back that night to ask to speak to the manager about it. Some dude said that they weren’t the manager but they would help us ( which he could not) We explained our situation to him and he said that we should have cleared it up while we were Dealing with the bill. The person on the phone was not sympathetic and said well you should not have eaten the steak. The person said that they would pass along our number to the actual manager who would call us back in the next few days.

First impressions were elegance. Given the festivities the atmosphere definitely felt rushed. We had a 15 minute wait upon entry with the reservation. The food wait was extremely long our wait was about 50 minutes. Our waiter was super cute and very friendly. Wish she could have been more attentive to us but she had so many other people to wait on. The music was isolated. And the food was great. My vegetables were cold but overall it was good. My advice is You need to exercise patience when you visit. Specially on one of those festive nights.

We were looking forward to a family celebration for an early IU graduate and Truffles was mentioned as a special restaurant for special occasions. Truffles bills itself as fine dining, “modern elegance with a twist.” Let me tell you about the “twist.” The menu is limited and the prices for a strip mall and Kroger adjacent restaurant — neither modern nor elegant — reach NYC levels with $50 entrees. The waitress was rude from the moment we sat down, having crammed us into a table too small for our party of 10. The service was slow, from drinks to appetizers, and the entrees took an hour to arrive. The food, each plate slammed down on the table by the waitress, cold and mediocre, at best. The only thing that was fast, the speed in which the waitress started cleaning the table before we all finished our meal. The owner you ask, ruder than the waitress. Not once did anyone come by our table to explain or apologize for the slow service. Asking why your food is delayed is a non-starter. Apparently, according to the owner while screaming at our table, we were to blame…it was the size of our party and waiting an hour for our entree was reasonable. You want a good, inexpensive meal where you are treated with respect, walk across the parking lot to Five Guys.

This establishment has a fancy atmosphere, plethora of wine options, and bar. The food is delicious, especially the burgers, steak, and fries. Price varies from $25-50 depending on if you order salad or steak.

The survivors was great! My wife had the chicken and I had the duck. Absolutely delicious!
