I’m new to Columbia and I can honestly say that out of all the bars/bistros I’ve been to so far, Tru Bistro has the BEST costumer service. I’ve experienced other places where the bartenders/other staff will literally ignore you if they don’t know you (something I’m not used to being from a larger city). All staff at Tru are friendly and service is quick. On top of that the food is amazing and the music makes for a great time too! Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian so I did decide to order all sides (fried okra, Mac, and mashed potatoes) which were fire! You can order mostly anything and request it without the meat though (Alfredo, spaghetti, quesadillas, etc.). But if all else fails, definitely go for the drinks and vibe!

The atmosphere, service and energy are always a vibe. It can be hard to find all three in one place but, they did it. The food is amazing; I highly recommend the Philly Eggrolls and the shrimp Alfredo! Sheena & Hollywood (the owners) have done an amazing job choosing their staff and curating vibes!
