Some of the bad restaurants in Maine I have visited should take a page from Troup's Pizza. I was in Alabama on business, and one of my friends frequents this establishment, so we had dinner here Friday night. It was busy (as one would expect on a Friday), but the service was fast and friendly, and the food was very good. Very family friendly with a very good vibe. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly.
Love this place went there recently for lunch. Found it on the internet and decided to try it out. Me and my wife were visiting from out of town, great mom and pop restaurant with great food . If you’re in the area please check them out.
This is one of my favorite mom and pop pizza places in town. Very relaxed atmosphere and good service. The people who run this place are nice. They did not berate any of the female customers for wearing short pants in their store. Kid-friendliness: Every time I'm there, I see a lot of families with their children there.
Great local pizza place with a fun atmosphere and plenty of creative options to choose from! Staff was very friendly, and food was ready surprisingly quickly. Ordered a large Nana's Meatball pizza, and it was fantastic.
Our fave local restaurant with dedicated kitchen space for people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance that is family friendly. We have been several times and have had zero issues. They have "real pizza" here too which I'm sure is just as wonderful as the cauliflower crust we order. They always have salads, wings and other apps and seasonal soup. The wedge salad is my favorite. They have a large selection of beverages. Whether it's busy or not, the customer service is always top notch too. We always dine outside but there is also patio seating. Keep up the great work Troup's Pizza!! Dietary restrictions: Safe for people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance Kid-friendliness: Welcoming to children to include caffeine-free drink choices, high chairs, TVs that play sports (my tween is into that) and coloring pages at the register.
Our friends got their pizza and we waited and waited for ours. We finally checked with a waiter who said our pizza got burned and they had to start over. When we finally got our pizza, it was charred bits in the bottom where it was probably cooked on top of the burned one. They offered us no compensation for being late. The rest of our party finished way before we did. They should , at least, have had someone come out to tell us why our food was so late. Added note: as soon as the management found out about what happened, they made everything right. We love Troups pizza and will definitely go there again as we have many times before. Vegetarian options: We love the Happy Hippie Pizza.
