Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Came in on a Sunday at 5:59 PM and three people came in AFTER me and were served their orders before me. This was all in the span of 30 minutes which prompted me to question was something wrong with my order and it seems they just never actually fulfilled it. Highly disappointed with the customer service after being forgotten about. To make matters worse, I was questioned by one of the two employees if I had my receipt after the negligence of them forgetting to fulfill my order which I had already opted earlier not to receive a receipt after paying. There were only two customers in the shop when I initially came in and the employee who actually took my order remembered me so again disappointing they could not even acknowledge I had been sitting there right in front of them waiting for over 30 minutes even as they were bringing orders DIRECTLY to the people who had ordered after me. My final complaint is I customized the açaí bowl I initially ordered to NOT have chia seeds and I get in the car and open the bag to a bowl with chia seeds. The least that could have been done was to fulfill the order I actually placed instead of rushing to cover up their mistake.

Brittney was so congenial! She was very knowledgeable about the menu when I had questions! I've been coming to tropical Cafe for 7 years, and the service at this location did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend, and ask for Brittany!

A fine tropical smoothie! Please keep in mind that their machines are set to select the 15% tip automatically. Definitely good to tip people but should be the customer’s choice so keep an eye out.

I placed an order for pick up and when I get there I call and let them know I arrived. I wait for awhile then call again and ask if I need to come inside. The woman says yes come inside. I get to the counter and the woman working there acknowledges that I have a curbside order but refused to bring it out. If I need to come inside just say that. Don’t make me wait if I have to come inside to get my smoothies.

Normally love tropical smoothie. The manager on duty today December 3rd at 1:47pm when i called is terrible. I asked for my smoothies to be made over since they had been sitting there for 50 minutes(which the smoothies shouldn’t be made until the person who is picking them up is in the store to check in to avoid MELTED SMOOTHIES). Refused to make it over said they have no control over when they pick up the smoothies. Right but you have control over when you MAKE the smoothies. Just terrible customer service so now I’m sitting here with $20 worth of inedible melted smoothies. Would not recommend this location at all!

THIS LOCATION IS THE WORST!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST IVE EVER SEEN! Employees never greet or smile. they all seem to hate this job. then why work here? homeless people come in and hang around this location too much its very unsafe for me and my family, the food is not what it use to be. they just don't care about the customers here. I will never be coming to this location EVER again! Tropical smoothie DO BETTER!!!!!!!!

I don’t even know where to begin…. To start, the last few smoothies I’ve had all had the same strange after taste and it makes me wonder if it’s the ingredients being outdated or the equipment not being cleaned. I’ve had a buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken will sometimes not be cooked properly and is still chewy. There’s vagrants EVERYWHERE at this location. I go in for a bite to eat and low and behold, guy on a bike walks in and makes the whole place reek of urine. As if that wasn’t enough, the bathroom is hardly ever maintained and that’s only the half of it. The employees, being that they’re all young kids, have no sense of urgency for anyone. Playing on their phones, having their own side bar conversations, and just acting like the job isn’t priority to them. I don’t expect the 5 star experience but my goodness, you’re front and center, ACT LIKE YOU CARE. Now it’s not all bad, there are a few good employees. They had a supervisor there that treated the customers with care but I haven’t seen her for awhile. Regardless, the cons far out weigh the pros and the location is just awful.
