I mean….The oxtails were full of F L A V O R. I pride this place for that much. They were also tinder && came as a nice portion size. HOWEVER, the Mac & cheese (NO SUH). It was full of bland. Couldn’t even taste the cheese flavor. The rice & peas, Lawd! Hard. Very much gave 3 days leftovers && dry & crunchy It’s oxtails or nothing. $17 for a small meal….I don’t plan on doing it again.

I would never eat here again. I am Jamaican and really had a strong taste for Jamaican food while visiting Brandon, Florida for the first time. Since we are from out of town we purchased dinner here. I should have known it was a bad idea when the lady at the front didn't even say hello to us after we said hi to them. We were so hungry.... we ordered to-go... 2 orders of the jerk chicken. My 1yr old son was smiling at the lady at the register and she gave us extra stewed chicken to try it... I thanked her. When I got to the hotel that night to try the food omg I wanted to puke and we almost choked!!!! The jerk chicken was old, dry, hard, and rubbery. Can't chew that! The lady who gave us the stew chicken on the side was probably trying to compensate because she knew that the jerk chicken was bad. The rice was undercooked and hard to bite into. My 1-year-old son spit it out immediately. And he loves rice. The whole meal was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. Me and my husband both ended up getting sick! The baby got diarrhea. Smh If we stayed in town I would have returned it so could eat it themselves and they could see how disgusting it was!! Instead we had to throw it away at the hotel. Wasted $28.

As a black man I've always struggled to understand why this simple little thing cannot be improved in a lot of our businesses. Good customer service! There's a lot of people that would excuse a bad food day, or subpar items on the menu if the customer service was rock solid. It's not hard at all, I work as a project manager and perform customer service daily with my clients. Not all of my projects go smoothly, as much as I wish they would, but people will give you the benefit of the doubt if they know that you are approachable and customer service oriented. I have not been to this restaurant in about 6 years; but for all the people knew on the inside, I was a brand new customer. Not only did they not greet me with a smile, welcome to the restaurant, thank you for spending your money to keep us in business, but the woman behind the counter had a look on her face like I was an annoyance. I told her that the food was either in my wife's name or mine, which seemed to confuse her for a moment, and rather than smile and ask me to say that again, she gave me a very irritated look. so the other woman at the cash register told me that it was in my wife's name, to which the more moody looking lady handed me my food without anything else being said. The lady at the cash register then took my money, and turned right to the next person without so much as a thank you. My people, it's not that hard! A simple smile, welcome to my restaurant, would you like anything else, in fact we have a special today, you know basic human interaction. And then after they spend their money, a thank you have a nice day please come again, could see the customer coming back. Look at your reviews for God's sake! The majority of the reviews that are negative is about the customer service. That's not hard to fix! It's not rocket science people, even if you're having a bad day learn to act. Smile even if it's fake and greet your damn customers! Tell them thank you for spending their money! It's silly to lose a business because of this foolishness.

I've been coming here weekly for at least 2 years. It's clean and so is the bathroom. I get oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage with extra gravy. I've never been dissapointed with that meal. It's more than $20 worth if oxtail and if you know how much they cost to buy it's a fair deal. The taste is consistent and they have a good option of natural drinks.

Very rude women working for establishment, and overpriced. No customer service skills, food is decent but not good enough to be burned by hot food in cheap little metal containers instead of using standard styrofoam plating. Will not return, not because food but service.

The woman working there has the rudest attitude in history. I will never order from there again. It was one of my favorite places to go but my experience today is definitely a no go for me. She’s new lady never seen her before. Her attitude STINKS BAD. Not too good for business. Sorry it’sa BIG THUMBS DOWN for me it was a take out order she made me swipe my card twice cause the first one didn’t “go through” when it did then she caught an attitude with me because I’m asking her why did she make me swipe twice. The nerve!! It’s my Dam money that’s why I asked

Really good authentic Jamaican curry chicken and oxtails!!

This restaurant has catered several functions for me and the food is always on point. Thank you.
