Tricks is a Savannah landmark that serves the best BBQ I have ever tasted - they serve generous portions of tender, smokey, perfectly seasoned ribs with homemade sauce, with delectable sides if you choose (I highly recommend the macaroni and collard greens). In recent news, this landmark that sits on Bull Street before Victory Drive is in danger of being displaced. This is in the so-called starland district - so read into it what you like. So, please support this establishment. After one bite, you'll understand why Tricks is THE best barbecue EVER.

It saddens me to deliver this poor rating but I love food and when I feel disrespected, I will respond. I was at this place today and ordered a large rib plate. The woman that took my order had already told me that they only had potato salad left so I ordered that. When my order was finally ready I looked and my box and there was no sides at all. The guy came to the door and said they were out of potato salad and that he would give me a free soda... soda???? Wow! Lol, Savanna, you have to stop supporting bad service. I know you guys don't have many options here but this service truly sucks. If you continue to support bad business they will continue to have bad business. Im only working here and decided to stop here and that is my last time ever eating there. He can keep his little soda because I don't want it. Savannah stop supporting BAD BUSINESSES!!!

Great deal. Service fantastic. The person that took our order was super hospitable, genuine, and just a sweet woman. The food - well, they were 86 beef and lamb so we had to run with plan B, which were the ribs. We got a large w/2 potato salad. Potato salad was perfect southern style (mustard base with relish) loved it. The portion of ribs was a wow. But the star of the show was the mustard base bbq. The ribs were very meaty. Like, 2 of us could not eat all of them in 1 meal. We were licking our fingers for hours. The atmosphere, well, that doesn’t matter because their hearts are in the right place where it matters the most, my belly. Will go back again and again. Happy to give them my dollars.
