Tres Potrillos Mexican Restaurant Marysville

Queso is a 10/10

Service was quick and food was good. My complaint is that they are now adding a 3.5% charge if paying with credit card. This fee is not disclosed until the check arrives. Shady business practice.

We stumbled upon Tres Potrillos one night when my sister-in-law was in town. We started with Frozen Cadillac Margaritas, which are always amazing! Our server, Kelly, is fantastic. She helps with suggestions and keeps her tables happy. We love to ask for her table when we arrive. This particular time, we had the Nachos del Rey and the Hawaiian Enchiladas! Both are excellent choices. The Restaurant is clean. The food is usually amazing though sometimes it needs reheated. The last time we were there was a Sunday night around 8pm and Kelly doesn't work on Sundays. When my Diablo Chicken and rice came out, it was barely warm, realmente frías, along with the rest of our food. Clearly the kitchen was shutting down. We asked to have it reheated and the response was, what do you want me to do about it, I don't work in the kitchen.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Marysville. I haven't gotten a menu item there that I haven't liked yet and their hot sauces are perfection. Service is usually pretty speedy even when it's a packed house and the environment is very upbeat with a beautiful patio. Parking: There's plenty of parking as they're located inside of a strip mall. Close to the building is usually more difficult to lock down, but you shouldn't have to walk too far. Kid-friendliness: The workers are excellent with kids. They're very understanding with the little ones and with food items like beans and rice, this is a really great place for kids of all ages.

Food had always been good here! Never a bad meal! I think they were a lite shot handed so it took a bit for service. We were not in a hurry.

Bangin food!! Service is the best I've experienced in some time! I will most definitely be back!
