From out of town and was in the area for a work conference. Wanted Italian and chose here based on other reviews. We came in about an hour and a half before closing (party of two) and were surprised by how empty it was. We were the only table in. Wine by the glass is priced very high here (cheapest glass was $14). Had a good meal, but prices seemed high for the meal and location. I enjoyed my food and the wait staff was very pleasant, but it definitely wasn't a $14 for a glass of wine kind of place. I had a seafood pasta dish and it was good and I would eat it again, just the entire menu seemed too highly priced, especially for the location.
Trattoria Italian offers a pleasant ambience, perfect for a cozy dining experience. The servers are polite and impressively knowledgeable about our preferences, even for first-time customers. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a delightful Italian dining experience.
First time eating at Trattoria Italia last night, and I REALLY ENJOYED the Chicken Parmigiana. It was one of the best I have had. Although not in the neighborhood where I live, I will go back. It's worth the distance. The dining experience, service, food and beverages were well executed. Food was served exactly to order - a great indicator everyone is attentive. Live music (Italian, naturally) was not too loud, and a nice ambient touch. I look forward to trying other items on the menu on my next visits.
I was disappointed in my pasta fresca.
Great place for lighter Italian fare than what you'll find at places like Olive Garden. This is much more like what I had in Italy and the staff is wonderful. They have better pasta, better sauces, and a delicious desserts.
Food was fabulous and enjoyed our server.
