ToyBox Bistro

Cute place. Very popular at 7pm on a Saturday night. Although they were noticably understaffed, and there was a 30 minute wait; the staff were friendly, playful, yet still professional. Once seated, drinks were ordered. Several bar items were sold out or not available. Ordered their pickle chips and Lucky Cat Egg Rolls. They came out to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The pickle chips were fresh out of the fryer, but the egg rolls had been sitting for a while. Weren't impressed with either. The chili cheese dog entre was H U G E! The Pot Roast Sundae was also about 3x the size I expected. Both were fresh, and made from scratch. Both were very good. I would recommend either one. Only drawback is that I honestly expected the Pot Roast Sundae to be served in an ince cream Sundae glass, not plated. Live and learn, it was still d licious and a much larger portion than would fit in even the largest Sundae glass. The bill was reasonable for a made from scratch restaurant and the service was great, despite being understaffed. We left extra for the tip. Lots of fun toys decorating the place.

Showed up to meet a couple friends for quick lunch that were already seated. Hostess spitefully turned me down from joining them. Terrible first impression on customer service.

I ate until I was ashamed as always. So sad that this staple of a restaurant is closing. We made sure to come and eat 1 last time. To the owner's and staff, the service was always spectacular and the food was as amazing and creative as the atmosphere at your restaurant. My true regret was that i never got to try the obligatory ridiculous burger. I will truly miss your creations and eating as much as I could at 1 sitting. Have fun in your future.

I had to revisit my previous review for this outstanding eatery. I heard that they were closing up shop and I am heartbroken. An ideal literary quote for this restaurant and the team that made them great is “So Long and Thanks for all the Fish”. Blessings on you all and thank you! — Previous review — Wow! Great food and nostalgia! The staff is friendly/fun and the service quick. Ask your server for their favorites and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. You gotta try this place!

I have traveled the world through the military and on my own time. And I can definitely say they have the best burgers I've ever tasted. I can't recommend this place enough
