Tortugas Pizza

This is one of my favorite spots for a great pizza and laughs with my boys. The atmosphere is nice and chill! The pizza is so delicious, and the service is genuinely kind. We will be back soon.

Food took forever to come out. It was cold when it arrived. They charge additional fees other than what the receipt says. Not many people were there and service was still bad. other customers complained about burnt pizza. Don’t waste your time or money.

Had pizza there (curbside) for the first time 2 weeks ago. The deep dish veggie pizza was AMAZING! The box was super heavy with all that pizza goodness. We're ordering again this week. Was not expecting such good Chicago style pizza in Birmingham. But here it is and it is really, really good! Oh, and they also have very good lasagna, both vegetarian and meat options! Vegetarian options: Veggie lasagna and vegetable pizza. Not vegan. Multiple options for those who eat cheese.

Went to the downtown location for the first time and loved it! I had the rare chance to have weekday lunch with my wife and Tortugas is one of her faves. Their Chicago style pie is amazing! It's loaded with cheese and that crispy crust around the edge is so satisfying. The homemade sauce is perhaps the best part. Chunky and full of flavor without being over seasoned. The location is really cool, right beside Regions Field in an old building that's very hip. The dining area is spacious, comfortable, and loaded with Chicago Cubs memorabilia and logo brewery signs. Service was off the charts, just the right amount of attention and privacy. Go and go now! Parking: Be prepared to walk a block or two. It can be tough to find parking.
