Atmosphere - 9 Food- 9 Black-Owned- 10 Entertainment Saxxy Fridays- 10 Bar Service- 2 Happy to get an invite from a new friend to enjoy a Grown Folks Live music Vibe!! Everything was cool…the Promoters walked around and greeted us with pleasure. The vibe was right,the Sax player and DJ were AMAZING!!! The MC was hilarious and kept me laughing. The bar staff though ♀️!! I ordered at the bar several times. The Bartender told me that they were trying to figure out prices so she would bring my ticket to my table. I sat with a friend and continued ordering drinks and food. Received my ticket…paid and left. I get halfway home and its my friend calling saying that the Bartender said that I left without paying my tab. I’m sorry but THIS is not cool! 1. I paid the ticket that I received!! 2. Why wasn’t all of my items on my ticket? 3. Why would you run after my friend and tell her that I didn’t pay my tab as if I was trying to run out on a bill? I’m sorry but I’m a professional woman who owns a couple of businesses and a nonprofit in other states. Running out on a bill is NOT my thing. So, the procedure to handle these types of incidents should be re-addressed bc the last thing you want is to have a first-time guest embarrassed due to this type of allegation. Not to mention, throughout the night, I noticed that particular Bartender smoking Hookah and on her cell phone. Which is very unprofessional, in my opinion, and is more than likely the reason why she wasn’t able to properly do her job. She was too preoccupied! Not trying to get anyone fired. Just an unhappy and embarrassed First Timer who can not and will not patronize under these conditions. Management, I hope this help, not hurt!
