Delicious food and service, but it's a bar loud and noisy
Food was good. Service was average. Had to ask several times for drinks and tickets had wrong items on them.
Walked in and immediately saw familiar faces. Amazing service, as soon as I sat at the bar, I was assisted, and even though I was early for happy hour, they still honored the prices. Food was SO GOOD. I recommend the Korean BBQ wings and parm fries. Fries were crispy and just enough parm sauce on top, garnished with a blend of herbs. Karaoke started just as I was leaving, but I could easily stay and have a great time doing that. Best local Tavern, in my opinion. Parking: There are tons of parking options right out front.
Nestled on Hawthorne Blvd between Sepulved and Lomita , The Torance Tavern offers a comfortable retreat for those looking to enjoy a casual dining experience. The ambiance strikes a balance between a traditional pub and a modern eatery, with dim lighting and wooden accents that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu, while not particularly adventurous, provides a solid range of classic American fare. The food are well-cooked and satisfying, and the selection of beers on tap covers the basics. Service is friendly, albeit a bit slow during peak hours. While The Torrance Tavern may not dazzle with culinary innovation, it’s a reliable spot for a laid-back evening with friends or a low-key dinner date. It’s the kind of place you go to for convenience and stay for comfort.
