Topsail Steamer

As much as I LOVE getting a Topsail Steamer when I'm in Topsail, NC, your new "ship anywhere in the country", through GoldBelly, did not work out for my Christmas present to my son and his family in Washington state. Delivery was delayed a day for reasons unknown. Everything had to be thrown away except the steam pot, the spices and the instructions. On the positive side, they went out and bought ingredients to replicate it themselves. On the negative side, that was not $249.00 well spent by me. I won't try shipping again.

We purchased a Jimmy's Way Low Country Shrimp Boil, and Daniell helped us. He was very friendly, and he explained the cooking process and the various choices well. The store was immaculate. He encouraged us to call if we had any issues in preparation. We purchased the smaller bucket for 2-3 people, and two of us had it for dinner and plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. They give you butter and cocktail sauce for serving, which was perfect for us, as we stayed in a rental with limited groceries. They also offer craft paper to spread on your table for easy cleaning afterward. We would absolutely return on our next trip to Wrightsville Beach.

Great idea for a seafood feast. They make it easy and fun. The employees are willing to explain the process and that assures success with the home preparation!

Just the experience by itself is amazing..really awesome atmosphere

Indeed, no five stars for me. Food was okay. The only good thing I could say is that I saved time by not having to clean and prep on my own. This concept is over priced and you’re truly paying the extra expense for the convenience.
