So the food was pretty good (apart from dessert selection), same stuff as any other large buffet, however the tables were extremely close together so you are sat very close to strangers with staff constantly walking past so close you feel you need to lean out the way, the dessert selection was pretty poor, no ice cream, rubber jelly, and dry cake with very synthetic tasting cream on, neither me or the kid enjoyed dessert, also pricing was a little high, I went with my 8yo son and it came to about £40 including 2 glasses of coke (not bottomless like you can get at Cosmo) considering we didn't gorge ourselves on food this felt a little on the expensive side, overall it was ok but wouldn't be in a rush to go again
The food here was awful, very low quality. The desserts tasted like they had the same kind of chemical taste in all of them. Went with my daughter for her birthday, it ruined the day, My cousin was sick that night and for weeksafter. I had an awful stomach bug and couldnt stay off the toilet, it took 3 weeks to settle and stop feeling sick. I'll NEVER eat here again, i do not recommend it at all. Massive waste of money, time and a birthday. I dont know how anyone is OK after eating here.
Cold food, cold plates. Food not rotated regularly so most of the food goes stagnant. Staff that I interacted with were rude and arrogant.
Food was OK on some dishes others were clearly left out too long being rock hard dumplings, overcooked meat dishes and the sushi was hard. Charged us £20.95 per person Drinks are expensive and if you want water don't order it as there is free water and ice near the desert area. Deserts we're nothing special and the pancakes fresh made tasted like paper. Avoiding not worth the price
I told the staff, i will be getting my car and i need my 7, 6 and 3 year old children, i need them to stay inside the building due to heavey rain, the staff agreed, after 6 minutes, they were told to leave and wen my wife said my husband has gone to get the car and its raining outside, the staff said thats none of our problem. My children were 20min standing outside in the rain, i will be taking legal action against this restaurant and will not be going back. Also the toilets are very dirty too
Hi guys, can I just start off by saying this whole place is one big flash in the pan if you’ve made the effort to come to Manchester for some nice food please don’t come to Topps restaurant as you will be very disappointed as I am now the food has absolutely no flavour whatsoever you get better Chinese and farm foods But I will leave this to your own decision. Trust me if you made the effort to come to Manchester, please spend your money somewhere else you will enjoy it much more.
The place Looks top-notch, although I never came here to look at nice restaurants. I came to get some nice food which dinner is definitely none inside of this restaurant. Everything is bland and cheap, I suppose you get what you pay for, but if you’ve made the effort to come to the city for some nice food, I would try elsewhere very overcrowded. Food is slop and nobody speaks English. ♂️
Decent buffet! £44 for 2 of us. More than it said on the website but good food
