Top Shelf Mexican Food & Cantina

This place is horrible. The food, the management and the staff. The Margaritas are very very watered down. You can not taste any tequila and the wait staff will argue with you if you want to send it back. I have read many reviews with simular complaints about the Margaritas and the food. The owner has replied to several reviews (food and drinks) and basically doesn't seem to give a crap. This is also the attitude of the staff. There is is a very large waiter who refused to replace a dirty dish, argued that it was not dirty, was confrontational has basically harassed me and my girlfriend everything we go in there. This very large man has actually threatened me to the point I had to leave. I was told by the other waiter that he has been there a very long time and has psychological issues which seemed to be very apparent. Do not ever go to this place or the other location.

This is our favorite place for Mexican food. The Deer Valley location has a nicer dining room and bar but the food is great at both locations, very consistent. The servers are fun and friendly too. Thank you.

Good place for Mexican food.

I was disappointed with the portion size, especially the rice and beans. I ordered the special Chimichanga, but didn't understand why the rice and beans were an extra charge. The rest of the meals had them included. When I got the food it was a very small portion of each, not worth the $3 extra. I won't go there again.

Have never had a bad meal
