Great music, lounge environment, service was not with a smile but changed over time. We order 3 burgers, ordered wine, beer and prosecco, thinking it'll take time for the food. The food came out before the drinks! Be warned, as I really don't know whose food I ate.
So after a long, two days of traveling, I Had to layover in Nashville airport and decided to go to this restaurant. As soon as I walked in, they told me I could sit wherever I want and when I tried to sit down, she told me I couldn’t sit there. she then tried to sit me next to somebody on the long booth seating. I asked her if i could be one over and told me no so then i decided to take a seat at the front end of the restaurant overlooking the walkway of the airport. she gave me a menu, and after a minute or two of me looking over it she came over and asked if I had wanted anything to drink I asked for water because it was 8 AM. She tried to upsell me on multiple alcoholic beverages. After I told her I was not interested and then she also got mad when I told her I was not ready to order my food yet because I haven’t had enough time to go over the menu. She then got angry, and told me that if I wasn’t going to order anything then i needed to leave the restaurant immediately. So I did end up leaving the restaurant, and I did tell her the reason why was because she was very disrespectful and I decided to eat it Ole Red for the second time, and it was delicious and excellent service as always so my advice skip this restaurant and head over to Ole Reds. Sucks for her because it was around Christmas time and i like to tip extra during the holidays
If you land in Nashville, when you get off of Gate C, American Airlines, this is where you want to stop. The staff is awesome, they have fun, live music to prepare you for the live music downtown.
The bartender was rude and verbally and physically threatened to have me arrested if I didn't leave because I sat at the stool and ordered a coke. I explained that I had a 2 hour layover and was planning on ordering wine and food in a few minutes. He told me to get out. I repeated myself, but he told him he was obnoxious and an a$$. He took my drink and hurled it over my head and threatened to call the police and have me thrown out of the airport. I told him to. I asked to talk to his manager, and he denied me the opportunity to speak to them. Management observed and took no action. I'm an African American, older woman. He was threatening and abusive, and I was concerned he would bring physical harm to me. I've contacted the authorities and plan to bring charges against this establishment and bartender. I attempted to contact the owner, and no one from his office even attempted to contact me even as a courtesy. I left all my contact information. BTW I was the only person of color in the establishment at the time.
Great food great service.
I had a great southern fried chicken salad. There was live music and the singer was great.
