This is a great delicatessen!!!! I ordered the mile high pastrami & Swiss cheese on rye and it was great.
Toojay's has become our "go to" place. Great for dining in or carry out. I was most impressed today with the hardworking staff and management team. Apparently, they had some very large catering orders and a reasonably busy front end. Working without the benefit of a full staff, it was heartwarming to see the dedication, teamwork and smiles of those who were there. Kudos to Kat, Anya, and Jackie who managed smiles and great service. It goes without saying, the food was outstanding.
Horrible. Absolutely no flavor and the presentation was horrible. Sandwich came out on the wrong bread and no cheese even though we ordered cheese and paid for cheese. Matzoh ball soup looked old and the balls were super grey and mushy. Expensive. Never again.
Best corned beef sandwich ever. Tollhouse square with walnuts a great finish toa great lunch. Wheelchair accessibility: Need more handicapped parking.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Music is good and not too loud. It is easy to talk to each other without having to yell like some other restaurants.
I have always liked this place, even though I have only been there 3 times, however, on my last visit I ordered two Danish; one prune and the other blueberry. When I got home I could not believe that my wife tried the prune one and spit it out. I proceeded to try it and I threw it away, upon trying the other one (blueberry) I encountered a very old Danish, days old (and they are not cheap). The microwave could not fix that one. The other just tasted horrible, also old. I am very disappointed since I like the place and I was warming to it, but even though I live very close, they just lost me.
