Swing by for a quick bite here and there. California and breakfast burritos are my go-to. I've tried the La Paz burrito twice and not sure why but there are bites here and there where it has a grainy, dirt-like, crunchy texture. Not what I expect from a Cali Surf burrito. Price wise this spot has gone up. That and past couple times when ordering the price advertised on their menu is not what's being rung up. Today the La Paz burrito was advertised as $12.19 or $12.29 but the receipt today (Feb 27) shows the burrito itself is $13.49
Food here is good, staff are friendly. Not sure why it only has 3.7 stars. I recommend Tony's special plate and a la Diabla tacos.
Very convenient quick stop during lunchtime.
Ordered a chorizo burrito. it was filled with potato and fries. Very little chorizo and egg. It was large though. Very dry and little flavor.
So me and my sister came in to get some food and the lady that took our order didnt tell me that with the order of rolled tacos a free drink was supposed to come with it. I was already upset that everything was so small in proportion until I actually saw the picture with the free drink special. I got up told her about it and she just said “i thought you didn’t wanted a drink”. Very bad experience and first and last time I eat in this place.
Well it’s alright but not the best. I feel like it could be better if the sour cream and guac weren’t watered down. It makes a difference. It washes away the flavors
Terrible experience. Go somewhere else! Walked in and was nicely greeted. Asked the very nice lady if they have shredded chicken quesadillas, to which she replied “yes, yes we do” and also I ordered a soda from their fountain drink. Now, it’s goes downhill. The Coke, Fanta, and Dr Pepper had lost their carbonation and their sweetness, so u let them know and they tried fixing it, but couldn’t so I just asked for a Horchata instead because my food was ready and didn’t want to take up their time. I said thanks and left. On my way to the car I took a sip of the horchata and it was apparent that it was powdered and insanely sweet, and actually made me feel like I had sandpaper on the inside of my throat, at this point I said screw it, I’ll just have a soda at home, and I went to look in my order to make sure they got it correct and it was a GRILLED chicken quesadilla. I went back inside and explained they got it incorrect and they the same lady insisted that I had said only “chicken quesadilla”. I asked for a refund and she was muttered more under her breath directly in front of me. I paid with card and got cash back. Will NEVER be going back to this place and hope others will read this review. Taco Bell has more competency
Fantastic tacos! 2.99 on Taco Tuesdays. They're good sized, too. I was shocked I was full after 3. House made chips and legitimately HOT salsa. I'll definitely be back!
