Can’t believe this place is still open. I had thought for sure it was closed during the pandemic. Best sandwiches in the area. Always filling and generally consistent. Service is pretty slow though, so make sure you give yourself enough time to order and wait. When I’ve called in the past, the phone just rings. So I just walk in now. Whenever I have to work downtown near the Capitol, I go to Tony's. They have the best sandwiches in town! The staff is friendly and the owner is a wonderful guy. I suggest the Godfather sandwich if you're a fan of toasted spicy sandiches. Their salads are great too! I also recommend the potato salad. Parking: It's located along the busy strip of J Street, so parking near there is tricky. There's a parking garage on K Street next to the Esquire theatre, but it's the same price as a sandwich meal, so spend your $15-$20 on a sandwich. I suggest parking a block or so away.

Great, Classic Family-Owned Deli. Had the Reuben on their Marbled Rye and was the best I've had in ages. Perfect ratio of meat/cheese/kraft to bread, not too thick or soggy! Best lunch stop in Downtown Sac! The owner even made my daughter a plain ham and cheese on white with mayo and brought her a brownie for dessert!

Hours are never accurate and they close early constantly. Just change your hours please. Sandwiches can be hit or miss
