Oh man came here on a Friday afternoon 3pm with our group being the only people in there at the time. Staff was pretty attentive (though it could be because we were the only ones in there) I would mostly come here for the black pork. It was the first time having it and it was Soo good. We ordered the normal pork afterwards and decided that next time we'd only get the black pork. The other meats we ordered weren't too bad as well but I don't think it was anything you can't get from other kbbq places around the area. One other thing I like about this place is the amount of kimchi and beans sprouts they put on the grill. It helps cut the fat of all the meat and even gets some flavor of the meat since it soaks up the juices One tip I have is get the naengmyeon after the BBQ. The cold noodles were soooo refreshing and a great finish to the meal!
Tong Sam Gyup Goo Yi is a samgyeopsal sanctuary! Thick-cut, marbled pork belly sizzles to perfection, each bite a symphony of crispy edges, melting tenderness, and rich, meaty flavor. Tangy ssamjang, creamy sesame oil, fresh lettuce, spicy kimchi, and pickled radish all dance together in a symphony of flavor. Pair it with a vibrant pop of fruit-infused soju, and prepare for nirvana. Beyond the belly, bibimbap bursts with color, japchae noodles glisten with sesame oil, and crispy kimchi pancakes tantalize. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and lively buzz complete the experience. Must-visit for Korean food enthusiasts! Score: 5 sizzling pork bellies out of 5!
went there with a party of 3 & was looking for a restaurant that would still be open around 9pm. stumbled upon it by chance & decided to give it a shot. we ordered the pork belly & bulgogi & tteokbokki but the food itself isnt delicious to the point where we could excuse the service. waitresses had no clue what we were ordering despite us pointing at the item on the menu which also showed a visual image of the food. wait time was also a bit long despite the restaurant barely being packed as we were the 3rd party sitting there. it didnt seem like the previous parties were rly ordering any food bc they were drinkin when we got there. if you do end up comin here, the only thing good is the pork belly but i wouldnt come here again.
