Absolutely delicious! If you want to dine-in there's a $10 per person minimum but you'll want one of everything, so that won't be hard to hit. Everything is so good. The soup dumplings were phenomenal, especially with a dash of any of the sauces that are provided on the table. I also had fried dumplings, crab rangoons, and spicy dumplings. It was enough food for at least two meals, and then some. I can't wait to go back, and I'll probably order to go a lot more often now that I know it's so close. Must see Parking: Good luck. Just walk Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Street level access, no need for ramps. There's a little antechamber so it might get awkward to get in if ppl are leaving
I've been walking past this Dim Sum spot for *years* without ever going in, so I was thrilled to finally enter and have some dinner. The menu is long but surprisingly there are only 3 soup dumpling options, while other dumpling and entree choices dominate the menu. It worked out fine, however, because the soup dumplings were delicious! I got the crab meat with pork soup dumplings and the roast pork steamed buns. The dumplings were rich, fatty, and luxurious to eat while the buns, on the other hand, were a light and airy affair. Both were delicious. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, tucked in the ground-level car passageway under the Pennsylvania Convention Center's flagship hotel. The place has a $10 minimum for dining in, and a $15 minimum for using a credit card to pay, both of which I easily reached with just two entrees and a water. The service was good - nothing extremely effusive or warm, but things came out quickly and correctly - and the atmosphere was as expected: a classic Chinese-American mom and pop restaurant look. Overall, I'm glad I finally stopped in, and I can confidently say I'd go back.
Excellent Dimsums (dumplings). Quick service and a small place tucked under the convention center.
I’ve dined in and had take out several times. I personally love their shrimp fried rice. Counter service is short, curt, abrasive, depending on what you look like. To go chili oil is free or $.75 depending on what you look like… Definitely not worth the hype… 6/10
Do not let tiktok deceive you.. this place is just alright. The service was very poor, the servers were not attentive, and my pork buns took 40 mins to come out, seemed like they just forgot??? not sure what happened but we were so disappointed. The soup dumplings didn't have that much flavor, and the texture threw me off. My friends and I feel sick now that we are home. The noodles were good i will say, I think what made the experience so bad was the service. Because if the service was good we would likely go back and just order something different, u know?
A Chinese establishment with Chinese employees who refuse to speak Chinese.
fast service and delicious food! Had walnut shrimp and seafood noodles
Ordered the Eight Delicacies Hot Sauce Noodle Soup and couldn’t have been happier. The broth was perfect and for only $10.95 I was full all day. The menu has a bunch of other great and affordable items, and the service was fantastic (including the little robot that delivers food out of the kitchen) Kid-friendliness: We had two small children with us and we had no problems at all. The server brought us a high chair and the kiddos loved seeing the food delivery robot.
