I remember when this Location first opened they moved from Brown and Gilbert to here. I used to eat here once to twice a month and stopped by last night for the first time in five or six years. Ordered the dinner for 2 and I am pretty sure everything was cooked this past weekend. Beef was grey in color, Mac and cheese was flavored with canned nacho cheese(same cheese you get with chips and cheese) Not the same Tom’s bbq at all. I won’t be returning, there are so many good bbq options in mesa….
The best fried fish, the best meat!! Such a good food
Wow! Mega-friendly, delicious food, served VERY quickly (granted it was 2pm so not busy at all). Excellent establishment. I brought a friend and we both agree, we'll be coming by again the next time we're in the neighborhood.
Decided to stop here to get my Chicago food fix. Left pretty disappointed. $6 for a Chicago dog (for comparison, Portillo’s charges $4), and it wasn’t even made correctly. Bun wasn’t steamed, comically small pickle spear, and for some reason, cucumbers? If you’re looking for authentic and reasonably priced Chicago food, I’d look elsewhere.
Never a bad BBQ experience at Toms! I order the two meat platter and DAYUM...there is Always enough for a second day dinner! The fries Never 'keep' with the to-go orders, but I've come to accept that fries in a Styrofoam container and a ride home ..equals, soggy fries. I still highly recommend Toms BBQ! ✌️❤️
