Tom Cavallo's Restaurant

I've been waiting to go there for their chicken wings again for years and I was not disappointed! Pricey as just about any other restaurant now-a-days, but worth it.

We were in town for 2 hockey games at the New Hartford Recreation Center from 2 hours away. We showed up at Cavallo’s with 17 people (I had called 20 minutes before we arrived to ask) at the last minute. They were EXTREMELY accommodating with our group of hockey players and parents. The service was top notch and the food was tasty! The waitress instantly came out to ask what kinda of drink pitchers we wanted and brought them quickly. She nicely divided up our checks by family which helped us out immensely! We very much appreciate Cavallos accommodating us last minute and taking such good care of us! We will be back next time we are in town! Kid-friendliness: A lot of options for kids and adults.

Service was very slow. Asked for a coffee and got a horrible bottom-of-the -pot cup complete with grounds. Asked for a dip with my fries and it took 20 minutes to get it...fries were cold by then. Noone came to check on us or even take away our bottles and dirty plates. We had to ask another waitres for a bill cuz our waitress disappeared. I don't believe we will be back as this is our 2nd time with the same experience.

As a happy accident, we showed up and took advantage of their specials. The food was great (great flavor), the service was great (very friendly server and rapid delivery of our food), and the place had a very attractive homey feel. I have no complaints about this place!
