Toluca Bakery

5/5 Written from a former bakery owner. My family owned a bakery in Detroit for 40+ years and sold it during Covid in 2021. I know baking and so does Toluca Bakery. Excellent customer service. Family owned shop with the mom and son working when my friend and I went in. So much variety, and the price point is low for all you’re getting. This is a bakery making old school, classic recipes. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, concha’s super tasty, Tres Leches was chef’s kiss, turnover amazing, danish great, cupcakes yum, eclairs fantastic and empanadas scrumptious. Highly recommend. Plus for folks who like supporting small business, this is exactly that. It’s a win-win-win-win. Taste-options-price-family owned & operated. Get there!

Highly recommend! So many vegan options! I’m glad I found this place I haven’t been able to find any vegan concha’s and we came across this place! They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk

Went to this place to get my daughter's Birthday cake . This spot is an absolute GEM! Quality, ingredients in the cake, colorful displays, and very respectful workers out front. Will definitely, hit this spot throughout the year.

Although its vegan bake good, their ingredients are not the healthiest or cleanest, like using white sugar, which is the unhealthiest. So, just be aware they don’t use clean and healthy ingredients. But most of their bake good here are pretty good. The only one you never know what to expect are the conchas sometimes they're soft, moist, and delish like their Vday ones and sometimes they're dry and steal. No consistency. Also, their tres leches lacks flavor. But their empanadas, cookies, corn bread, pig bread, tarts, and pies are delish. They’re very pricey tho. In addition, the service is not always the best. The young Hispanic girl who is most of the time as the cashier has an attitude. You can tell she's either having a bad day or hates her job. But overall, it's a decent vegan bakery to shop.

This is an amazing vegan bakery. I love that they keep the gluten-free items in a separate case so I know exactly what to purchase when I go. The staff is super friendly. They make yummy salsa for their tamales, too. Dietary restrictions: It’s all vegan and has gluten free options as well.

It's not Valentines Day until you have a Heart-shaped Choncha and cookie from one of the best Vegan Bakeries in Southern California- the Toluca Bakery in Burbank, CA!!! ❤️ Parking: The service is outstanding!
